ARC has re-engineered its internal model motion system for automotive and truck wind tunnel testing. This new "Generation II" model has improved accuracy and holds tighter tolerances than compared to our first design. Our model motion system allows a vehicle to use automated motion to achieve vehicle pitch, roll, yaw, heave and front wheel steer. The use of our system will reduce the testing time required for vehicle sweeps. The Gen II has been successfully commissioned and is now available for use by all ARC customers during their testing. "We are proud of our continued development evolution at ARC. The Gen II will reduce our customer's testing time, quicken the development pace throughout their test and save them valuable testing time which directly translates into a monetary savings." explained Mike Camosy, Operations Manager.
