Following on from the first heavy duty truck open test held on April 14, 2009, ARC will hold a second wind tunnel test for the class-8 industry. This second open test will offer the test bed of a single axle Prostar day cab tractor coupled with two Stoughton dual 28' trailers. This test is open to all fleets and component manufacturers. Each participant will be given the opportunity to test a couple of products or some new ideas they may have during this open test for a minimal fee. "Based on the huge success of our first open test, we felt this industry has enough interest in our methodologies to warrant a second open test using a different vehicle platform." expressed Mike Camosy, Operations Manager.
