FLEETS, ARE YOU GETTING
WHAT YOU PAY FOR?

Currently the Smartway EPA program 'buckets' fuel economy parts that pass a test by using any tractor/trailer combination. This means that your exact fleet tractor/trailer most likely was not used to achieve these test results. Therefore, your fleet seeing the same benefit as listed on the EPA website could be in question.
To further aid fleets eliminate this concern, ARC has created an "aftermarket" program, whereby fleets can test at ARC and verify product results on your exact fleet configuration. Our Fleet/Aftermarket program will kick off in January 2016.

Aerodynamic Drag Reduction - Lowering the overall drag means less power is needed to propel the vehicle. Thermal Testing - Increase the efficiency of electric components and batteries by getting cool airflow to them. Rolling Resistance - Decreasing the rolling resistance of your drivetrain

TECH ZONE is an additional area of our newsletter where each month a customer question will be answered by the related expert at ARC. Please send in any questions you might have, from wind tunnel test instrumentation, CFD workings,to tuning your shocks.
